The founder
Dr. med. univ. Amel Havkic, MBA
Specialist physician in internal medicine and pulmonology, with additional qualifications in emergency and intensive care medicine. Head of Department at St. Elisabethen-Krankenhaus in Frankfurt am Main. Founder and managing director of EvoMed Consulting GmbH.
Amel founded EvoMed after years of watching brilliant MedTech solutions fail inside the units he ran, not because of bad engineering, but because they ignored clinical reality. EvoMed codifies that bedside experience into strategy: the StarMap framework, StarMap OS, clinical due diligence and adoption-first advisory for ventures, accelerators and investors.
He is still clinically active: treating patients and leading a hospital department while advising the industry. That is deliberate. The clinical judgment EvoMed sells is current, not remembered.
